Savings Accounts

Whether it’s a lifelong dream or a weekend getaway, Buffalo Conrail Federal Credit Union offers a variety of great savings options to help you get there. They’re all NCUA-insured, so you know your money is safe. Our deposit accounts let you earn competitive interest rates while keeping your money totally liquid so you can get to it when you need it.

Regular Share (Savings) Accounts

This account is the primary account for all members. When you join the Buffalo Conrail FCU, you become a member and an owner of your credit union. Every member must maintain a regular share account with a balance of $25.00. Dividends will be paid on share accounts that are $200.00 or greater. Statements are mailed quarterly.

Christmas Club Accounts

This account can be used by members for holiday shopping needs. An annual dividend is paid at the end of October. Club funds are automatically transferred into your regular share account in early November. Early withdrawals are subject to a fee.

Share Draft (Checking) Accounts

The Credit Union offers fee-free checking accounts, called “Share Draft Accounts” to its members. Share draft accounts offer free checking, with no minimum balance required, no per-check charges, and no service fees required to maintain an account. In addition, share draft accounts are eligible for a Visa® Check Card, which can be used as a debit card anywhere Visa® is accepted. The check card also gives you access to your account from any ATM in the Visa® Network.
